Ancestry24 is getting a feature-rich make-over After months of hard work Ancestry24 will be launching its new website next week. That will be the start of exciting new things, additional features and continuous improvements over the next few months. Please note on that all new registrations have been disabled and new users will be redirected to the new site. Existing registered and subscribed users will of course still be able to access the current site. The Tree Builder will be unavailable for a few days, but comes back in a state-of-the-art upgrade. This is to ensure that, during the move, your ancestors don’t fall out of the tree! I can assure you that the wait will be worth it.

Van Tonder, Barend Matheus, born 26th August 1905 in Bloemfontein, son of late C.J.H. Van Tonder. He married Jacomina Scheepers in 1929 and she was the daughter of F.J. Scheepers. They have 2 sons and 1 daughter. Barend is a printer and the Deputy Mayor of Pretoria; Mayor 1957-58; and Mayor 1965-1966; Vice-Chair. Management Comm., Pta. City Councillor; Comm. for Dingaan's Day Celebrations 1952; Dir. and Chair. Aurora Printing Works Ltd.; educated at Pretoriaa. Technical College; Recreation.: Bowling.
